We are pleased to announce that the Institute for American Leadership (I4AL) has officially transitioned to become the Bretton Woods Institute for Strategic Leadership (BWISL). Our new name reflects our vision for the future and our continued commitment to principled leadership and thoughtful policy dialogue. This rebrand reflects our expanding mission to bridge national security policy, economic statecraft, and public-private strategy.

We’ve expanded our nonpartisan mission and strengthened our flagship, House- and Senate Ethics–approved Congressional fellowship—equipping Capitol Hill leaders with the strategic tools to navigate today’s national security landscape. Applications for the 2027 NSPF cohort are officially open.
